Donation Acceptance Policy

First of all, we want to say thank you – we truly mean it! Your donation means the world to us. We simply cannot achieve our mission without supporters like you. You are heroes to us, and you are helping our men build bright futures!

Please note that all items donated to the Beacon House Thrift Shop must be in good, clean and re-sellable condition. Items that do not meet these donation acceptance guidelines must be thrown away responsibly – this costs money and takes away from our primary mission!

These are general donation acceptance guidelines. We may not accept all donation drop-offs, especially if the items are not re-sellable, and donation pick-ups are at the driver’s discretion.

Please make sure to include pictures of your bulky items when scheduling a pick-up (a bulky item is any item that requires two people to lift it). Also, while we do accept sofas/couches, these and other upholstered items require an approval process (see Furniture section below). Once again, thank you!
